Athletistic/ Football. Betis Sevilla captain Joaquin Sanchez has extended his contract with the team until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
On July 21, Joaquin will turn 41 but, despite the respectable age for a football player, the Spaniard is still one of the core players and team leader.
Joaquin graduated from Betis. He played for the team from 2000 to 2006, then from 2015 to the present day. Because of Joaquin – 498 games, 64 goals and 44 assists for ‘Betis’ in all competitions.
As part of the Sevilla club, the footballer won the Spanish Cup twice – in the 2004/2005 and 2021/2022 seasons.
