Our youth team will have qualifying matches for the 2025 European Championship against the national teams of Luxembourg and Azerbaijan
Defender Vorskly Evgeniy Pavlyuk called up to the national team camp Ukraine U-21.
The 21-year-old defender made his debut for the youth team in September. In total, Pavlyuk played two games for the U-21 team. Let us note that Evgeniy played 18 matches for Poltava in all tournaments this season.
Our youth team will have qualifying matches for the 2025 European Championship against the national teams of Luxembourg and Azerbaijan. Both matches, nominally at home for the Ukrainian team, will be held in Murcia, Spain, at the Nueva Condomina stadium.
Head coach Unai Melgosa has determined the list of players for the November training camp. Defensive player Eduard Kozik from Shakhtar, Czech Slovan midfielder Ivan Varfolomeev, as well as Dynamo Kyiv forward Vladislav Vanat have been called up.
Let us remind you that the Spanish specialist at the helm of the U-21 team started with a defeat in a friendly match against the German national team (0:2), and then his team beat Northern Ireland (1:0) in the opening match of the European qualification. Melgosa continued even more successfully: he defeated Luxembourg on the road (3:0), after which he achieved a sensational victory over England (3:2).
The Ukrainian U-21 team has nine points after three matches and is the sole leader of Group F. England and Serbia have 6 points each. Luxembourg, Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan scored three points in the opening matches.
