Athletistic/Football. Manchester City CEO Ferran Soriano has responded to the news that Real Madrid are interested in striker Erling Holland. The official said the Norwegian would not leave the English club in the near future.
“Holland is happy here. He has achieved incredible success at Man City and I think he will play for us for many more years,” Soriano said, as quoted by RAC1.
Earlier, the authoritative Spanish publication AS reported that Real Madrid is ready to activate the option to buy the Netherlands from the English club in the summer of 2024. The 23-year-old striker’s contract with the winner Champions League title includes a buyout clause of 200 million euros.
Erling Holland left Borussia Dortmund for €56.5 million for Manchester City in the summer of 2022. His contract with City runs until June 30, 2027.
