The press service of the English club showed how a Ukrainian and a female football player pass on their skills to young people.
Ukrainian centreback Ilya Zabarny and Bournemouth women’s defender Abbie Jones held a master class for the youngsters studying at the Cherries academy.
As part of a series of training sessions, the football players answered questions from the young players and performed a series of practical exercises with them.
Ilya and Abby teach the children the correct actions when playing defense. Zabarny shared his emotions from the event.
“This club is a great community, so Abby and I had a great time meeting the teenagers.
They are interested in how we prepare and perform on a weekly basis, and we are happy to pass on some tips to the next generation, whether they want to play professionally or are just interested in what we do.
The Junior Cherries workshops seem like great events that give kids a great experience, so I’m happy to help and take part,” said the Ukrainian.
Think Illia Zabarnyi and Abby Jones taught you how to defend? 😍

Let’s remember that Zabarny once clashed with Bournemouth players in a hilarious challenge.
