The Ukrainian has already attracted interest from a number of well-known European clubs.
Ukrainian forward Girona Artem Dovbik spoke about his adaptation to Spain, the team’s successful results in La Liga and transfer rumors.
“Everything is going well, adaptation is really happening very quickly, but my teammates and Victor are helping me with this [Цыганков] helps.”
“To be honest, of course, we didn’t expect it to be like this. [лидерство в Примере] will. The task was set – these are European Cups. But we see that the team shows good and high-quality football, everyone feels each other very well, we give good results, so now there are slightly different tasks for ourselves and for the club.”
“We get used to each other during training. Viktor and I, in principle, have always had such a little chemistry – I understand what to expect from him, he knows how to take advantage of my strong qualities. Therefore, with Victor, everything was fine right away, and with Savio, we looked closely at each other every game, and as a result, we feel each other well on the football field.”
“I’m somehow already calm about this. If you continue, everything is real, everything is possible. I don’t look at these rumors because now I have a team that I’m happy with. This season, I think, for each player on our team will be like a showcase and a springboard, God willing, to other top clubs. But now I only want to think about the team I’m playing for.”
Dovbik moved to Girona last summer, signing a contract until 2028. The forward played 14 matches for the red and white team, scoring seven goals and providing six assists. Inter, Atlético Madrid and a number of other European clubs are showing interest in the Ukrainian.
Now Dovbik is with the Ukrainian national team and is preparing for the match with Italy in the Euro 2024 qualifying. The match will take place on November 20 in Leverkusen.
Girona leads La Liga with 34 points after 13 rounds. In the next match, the team of Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov will play at home against Athletic on November 27.
