The fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion has been announced
Unification fight for WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Alexandra Usika and WBC title holder Tyson Fury will officially take place February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Announcement of the fight between Usyk and Fury for the title absolute heavyweight champion took place during a press conference of boxers at Wembley Stadium in London.
Initially, the fight between Usik and Fury was planned to be organized on December 23 in Riyadh. However, it later became clear that the “Gypsy King” would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.
Fury defeated Ngannou via split decision. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.
Usik fought his last fight on August 27 in Wroclaw, Poland. The Ukrainian knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round and defended his championship titles.
