FIFA to sign sponsorship deal with Saudi oil giant for $100 million per year – media

Saudi state oil company Aramco will become the biggest sponsor of the International Football Federation (FIFA ), reports Times .

The company plans to enter into a sponsorship deal with FIFA after Saudi Arabia became the sole candidate to host the 2034 World Cup.

The deal is expected to remain in effect until 2034. Industry experts estimate the deal could be worth up to $100 million per year.

Marketing industry sources say negotiations for the deal are at an advanced stage.

Last May, it was reported that Saudi Aramco had become the most valuable company in the world with a capitalization of $2.43 trillion. In March 2020, the company signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Formula 1.
