The winger hopes to recover for the match against Azerbaijan on November 21
Winger Ukrainian youth team Maxim Bragaru will miss the match with Luxembourg U-21 in qualification European Youth Championship 2025.
“I have a slight injury, I will not participate in the match. I twisted my ankle in the match against Rukh, it happened in the 22nd minute. I finished that match, but then I didn’t train for two days. Yesterday I tried to train, it hurt a little,” the footballer said.
It is reported that Bragaru expects to recover and play in the next match of the Ukrainian U-21 national team with Azerbaijan. Let us remind you that the nominally “home” match with the Azerbaijanis will take place in Murcia, Spain, on November 21.
Unai Melgosa’s team will play against Luxembourg U-21 on Friday, November 17. The match starts at the Nueva Condomina stadium in Murcia at 20:00.
The Ukrainian U-21 team has nine points after three matches and is the sole leader of Group F. England and Serbia have 6 points each. Luxembourg, Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan each have three points after their opening matches.
