Serbian IMT midfielder Alexander Zuev made his debut for Kazakhstan national team during the qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship against the team San Marino .
The Group H meeting takes place in Astana, and the 27-year-old footballer appeared on the field from the first minutes.
Zuev was born in the Kazakh city of Kostanay, where he played football in the Tobol system. In 2005, the Zuev family moved to Chelyabinsk. The footballer played in Russia for Spartak Moscow, Krylia Sovetov, Rostov, Rubin and Khimki. He also played for Russian national teams of different ages, including youth. In June, Zuev received Kazakh citizenship.
