The head of the RFU discussed with the Indonesian ambassador the holding of friendly matches between teams of different ages

President of the Russian Football Union (RFUs ) Alexander Dukov During a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Indonesia to Russia, José Tavares, he discussed the possibility of organizing friendly matches between teams from two countries of different ages, reports the press service of the RFU.

Dyukov told Tavares about key projects for the development of RFU football, such as the Youth Football League and “School Football”.

In October, the Russian national team played friendly matches with the teams of Cameroon (1:0) and Kenya (2:2). On November 20, Valery Karpin’s team will play a test match against the Cuban team, the meeting will take place in Volgograd.

FIFA and UEFA suspended Russian clubs and national teams from international tournaments in February 2022 due to the situation in Ukraine.
