The 2025 European Championship qualifying match will start at 20:00
The starting line-up has been announced Ukrainian national team U-21 for the match with Luxembourg in youth qualification European Championship 2025.
Unai Melgosa made three changes from his side’s start against England’s peers on 16 October. Defender Artem Smolyakov, midfielder Valentin Rubchinsky and forward Vladislav Vanat will play from the first minutes.
Konstantin Vivcharenko and Oleg Ocheretko remained in reserve, and the injured Maxim Bragaru did not make it into the lineup (as did, for example, Alexander Yatsyk).
Ukraine U-21: Neshcheret, Roman, Salyuk, Batagov, Smolyakov, Brazhko, Rubchinsky, Yarmolyuk, Voloshin, Vyunnik, Vanat.
Spares: Fesyun, Vivcharenko, Pavlyuk, Didyk, Kucheryavyi, Ocheretko, Kvasnitsa, Skorko, Krasnopir.
The nominally “home” match for Unai Melgosa’s team will take place in Murcia, Spain, at the Nueva Condomina stadium. The meeting starts at 20:00.
The Ukrainian U-21 team has nine points after three matches and is the sole leader of Group F. England and Serbia have 6 points each. Luxembourg, Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan each have three points after their opening matches.
Four days later, on November 21, Melgosa’s team will meet with Azerbaijan at the same stadium.
