The Maltese national team qualified for Euro 2024 without any points
England team beat Malta in the home match of the 9th round of the qualifying tournament European Championship 2024.
Gareth Southgate’s men took the lead in the 8th minute thanks to an own goal from visiting defender Enrico Pepe. After the break, Harry Kane increased England’s lead.
Earlier, England advanced to the finals of Euro 2024 ahead of schedule. Southgate’s team has 19 points after 7 matches played. Malta suffered their eighth defeat in the qualifying tournament and finished last in Group C.
