Oleg Kuznetsov’s team will have a decisive match with Slovakia on November 21
Ukraine U-19 national team lost disastrously Kosovo in the second round of qualification European Championship 2024 – 0:4.
The blue-and-yellows conceded the first goal midway through the first half. After the break, Kosovo players hit the goal of Oleg Kuznetsov’s team three more times, Elvir Gashiyan scored a double.
In the first match of the qualifying mini-tournament, the Ukrainian team beat Malta (3:1) and is in second place in Group 7 with three points. Oleg Kuznetsov’s team will have a decisive match with the Slovak team on November 21.
The teams that take the first two places, as well as the best team from 13 groups that takes third place, will advance to the elite round of qualification. Together with Portugal, which previously received a ticket to this stage, the participants will form seven groups.
The winners of the elite round groups will advance to the finals of the European Championship, along with hosts Northern Ireland. Euro 2024 U-19 will take place from 15 to 28 July 2024.
