The Swiss team drew (1:1) with the Kosovo team in Basel. The Romanian team beat the Israeli team in Hungary (2:1). So, one round before the end of the qualifying tournament, the Romanian team scored 19 points, while the Swiss team scored 17 points. The teams secured two first places in Group I.
The European Football Championship will take place in 2024 in Germany.
