The France forward reached this milestone ahead of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
Forward for PSG and French national team Kylian Mbappe reached the mark 300 career goals.
The forward scored a hat-trick in Le Bleu’s match with Gibraltar (14:0). Kylian scored a penalty in the first half and scored two more goals after the break.
“It’s just part of the process. There are players who have scored 800 or 850 goals in their career. 300 is just fun! I need to keep going and improving both for the club and the national team,” Mbappe said after the match.
Kilian reached the 300 goal mark at 24 years, 10 months and 29 days. The Frenchman was ahead of Lionel Messi, who was able to achieve this figure at 25 years, 4 months and 3 days, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo (27 years, 8 months and 23 days).
Mbappe also scored his 46th goal for France. Kylian has moved ahead of Antoine Griezmann into third place on the list of Les Blais’ all-time top scorers.
France secured early access to the 2024 European Championship. Didier Deschamps’ team will complete the selection with a match against Greece on November 21.
300 — Kylian Mbappé has scored his 300th career goal (club + national team), doing so before turning 25, a performance that neither Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo nor Neymar managed to achieve. Genius. pic.twitter.com/4PomG1SQ7Y
