Tedesco’s team won Group F
Belgium left no chance Azerbaijan in the final qualifying round match Euro 2024 – 5:0.
The hosts scored four goals before the break, all of them scored by Romelu Lukaku. At the same time, Azerbaijan spent one and a half half in the minority – in the 24th minute Eddie Israfilov received a second warning.
Towards the end of the meeting, Domenico Tedesco’s team scored for the fifth time. Leandro Trossard scored the goal, and Jeremy Docu scored the second assist.
The victory allowed Belgium to gain 20 points, leapfrog Austria and finish top of their group. Azerbaijan remained fourth.
Lukaku is the top scorer in European qualifying with 14 goals.
