Berardi was not included in the Italian national team squad for the match with Ukraine

Outside the entry – Carnesecchi, Lazzari, Cambiaso and Colpani

The team’s application has been determined Italy for the key qualifying match Euro 2024 against Ukraine.

Forward Domenico Berardi will not play against the blue-yellows. Also left out of the lineup were goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, defenders Manuel Lazzari and Andrea Cambiaso, and midfielder Andrea Colpani.

Italy team entry:

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Ivan Provedel, Guillermo Vicario;

Defenders: Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, Federico Dimarco, Alessandro Buongiorno, Federico Gatti, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Gianluca Mancini, Cristiano Biraghi.

Midfielders: Jorginho, Nicolo Barella, Davide Frattesi, Brian Cristante, Giacomo Bonaventura.

Forwards: Nicolo Zaniolo, Federico Chiesa, Moise Kean, Stephan El Shaarawy, Matteo Politano, Giacomo Raspadori, Gianluca Scamacca.

Ukraine will play against Italy today in Leverkusen (Germany) at the BayArena stadium. The meeting starts at 21:45 Kyiv time. The squad for the match did not include defenders Alexander Karavaev and Maxim Taloverov, as well as midfielder Yegor Nazarina.

The Italian team is in second place in Group C with 13 points. Ukraine also has 13 points, but is inferior to Italy in additional indicators. To qualify for the Euro directly, Sergei Rebrov’s team needs to beat Squadra Azzurra with any score.

If Ukraine fails to beat Italy and qualify directly for the Euro from second place in its group, it will have a fallback option – the Nations League playoffs. Rebrov’s team will be waiting for the “final four” of division A or division B.
