Favbet Foundation won the “Corporate Charitable Foundation” category during the communicators’ marathon

With the outbreak of a full-scale war, the Favbet Foundation reoriented more than 90% of its projects to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Favbet Foundation became one of the leaders in the “Corporate Charitable Foundation” nomination of the national competition. Based on the results of voting by readers and an expert jury, the social project of the Superheroes Club Foundation won.

The winners were awarded in November during the annual PR marathon of the national publication MMR, which this time was dedicated to effective communications during the war.

With the outbreak of a full-scale war, the Favbet Foundation redirected more than 90% of its projects to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Subsequently, assistance to the Ukrainian army was transformed into the systematic work of a military hub, and humanitarian areas were adapted to the requirements of martial law. Among them is the “Superheroes Club” – a program for the cultural and sports development of children who have felt the impact of the war.

“Ukrainian children are purposeful and talented. Even the war did not deprive them of the desire for development and self-realization. Our goal is to give young Ukrainian children more opportunities to discover their superpowers, despite the war. They are the future of the new Ukraine, and we must do everything possible to make it happy.”says Evgeniy Bondar, curator of Favbet Foundation projects.

The “Superheroes Club” was implemented to support children and teenagers from families of military personnel and IDPs. “The Club” united three projects at once: “IT Kids”, “Strength in Knowledge” and “Stronger Together”. In 2023, as part of these initiatives, the foundation team conducted a number of courses on the basics of programming, sent out 5,500 office boxes to schoolchildren, and launched free sports clubs in boxing, football, wrestling and basketball.

“The best reputation is the one that is formed not by words, but by real deeds. The foundation team has completed a huge amount of work: the “Superheroes Club” has reached thousands of children throughout Ukraine. These projects deservedly attracted a lot of attention and became a good example of effective interaction between business and the public to overcome common challenges,” comments FAVBET Communications Director Ksenia Tyurikova.

Besides, Favbet Foundation continues its important mission – with the support of the fund, systemic assistance is provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So to date, 240 cars have been transferred to the front and this number is growing daily. Also, with the assistance of the Favbet Foundation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received more than 130 drones of various types, including attack ones. Earlier, the Drone Army strike companies received 53 new Peugeot Landtrek SUVs from Favbet. In total, the total assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other Defense Forces with the support of the fund amounted to more than UAH 175 million.
