17-year-old PSG midfielder Zaire-Emery is out until the end of the year

The return of young talent is expected after the winter break

PSG on the club’s official website provided information about the midfielder’s recovery time frame Warren Zaire-Emery. The 17-year-old will not help the team in 2023 and is expected to return after the winter break.

Warren was injured in the French national team’s match with Gibraltar (14:0) in the qualification for Euro 2024. The player was diagnosed with a moderate sprain of his right ankle.

Zaire-Emery became France’s youngest player in over 100 years, making his senior debut at the age of 17 years and 255 days. Warren scored a goal in the 16th minute of the meeting with Gibraltar and became the youngest goal scorer in the history of the national team.

Zaire-Emery has played 15 matches for PSG this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

PSG leads Ligue 1, one point ahead of Nice. Luis Enrique’s team will play their next match against Monaco on November 24.
