Everyone is sure that the judges made a fatal mistake
The Ukrainian national team failed to beat Italy in the final match of the group stage of Euro 2024 qualification. The Ukrainians ended the nominally home match, which took place in Leverkusen, in a draw – 0:0. One of the key moments of the match happened already in the time compensated by the referee: Acerbi brought down Mudryk in his own penalty area, but neither the main referee nor the VAR officials saw any violation in this episode on the part of the Italian.
The draw did not allow the Ukrainian team to directly qualify for the final part of Euro 2024; the Italy team received a ticket, beating the blue-yellows due to personal meetings. The world media agree that the referees made a fatal mistake, and there was a penalty in the Mudrik-Acerbi episode.

Ukraine screams at Gil Manzano for a possible 93rd-minute penalty that could send them through to Euro 2024. The Spanish referee did not whistle and did not go to review VAR for Acerbi’s foul on Mudrik

Italy qualified for Euro 2024 after a 0-0 draw with Ukraine. But a controversial point… Mudryk was clearly fouled in the penalty area in stoppage time. For some reason they didn’t give a penalty. A Ukrainian victory would allow it to pass Italy.
Italy qualify for Euro 2024 after a 0-0 draw vs. Ukraine. But late controversy… Mudryk clearly fouled in the box in injury time. Penalty somehow not given. A Ukraine win would have sent them through at Italy’s expense.🇺🇦🇮🇹

In the Ukraine-Italy match the referee lost. Will not give a clear and obvious penalty for Ukraine.
The referee in Ukraine 🇺🇦 v Italy 🇮🇹 has lost the plot. A clear and obvious penalty for Ukraine not given. Wow.
