The composition has become known Ukrainian women’s team football for the upcoming matches against Poland And Serbia V League of Nations.
Blue-yellow coach Vladimir Pyatenko called 23 players to the training camp. There are minor changes compared to the lineup for the October training camp. Forwards: Yana Kalinina, Roksolana Kravchuk (both from Vorskla), Olga Ovdiychuk (Fomget, Turkey), Inna Glushchenko (Nice, France).
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian national team lost three opening matches in the Nations League, all with an identical score of 1:2 – to Serbia, Poland and Greece. Then Pyatenko’s team achieved revenge against the Greeks – 1:0.
Having scored the first three points, the blue-yellows overtook Greece and rose to third place in the quartet. Poland is ahead with 10 points, Serbia has 7 points. According to the regulations, the group winners directly advance to the elite division. Second place gives the right to participate in the playoffs. The fourth position is an automatic demotion.
Vladimir Pyatenko’s team will play the final two matches of the group stage in December – the first against Poland (in the Polish city of Staleva Wola) and the fifth against Serbia (in the Serbian city of Stara Pazova).
The final stage of the Women’s League of Nations, which will also serve as a qualifying stage for the 2024 Olympics, and play-offs are scheduled for the period from February 21 to 28, 2024.
