Athletistic/ Football. Belgian striker Divock Origi explained what it meant for him to move to Italian “Milan”, where he came as a free agent.
“When I arrived here, I felt at home. I moved to a great historic club. It’s a place where people live football and fans know the history of the club. 19 league titles, seven Champions League cups – it’s amazing. A lot of great people have come through the football players on the team. I’m very grateful and inspired to be a part of it all,” said Origi.
The Belgian’s previous club was English Liverpool, for whom he played from 2015 to 2022 (he spent the 2017/2018 season on loan at Germany’s Wolfsburg). Origi has 176 appearances, 41 goals and 16 assists for Liverpool in all competitions.
Origi has won six trophies with the English club: the UEFA Champions League (2018/2019), the UEFA Super Cup (2019), the Club World Cup (2019), the English Premier League (2019/2020), the English League Cup (2021/2022) and FA Cup (2021/2022).
