Rivne residents are confident in maintaining the viability of the club
Veres published an official statement commenting on the opening of proceedings in the case of bankruptcy.
The club’s appeal states that Veres does not see any threat of bankruptcy for the club. The official comment from team president Ivan Nadein regarding this case will take place on Friday, November 24.
The other day, the Supreme Court of Ukraine officially announced that the Economic Court of the Rivne region opened bankruptcy proceedings against the public joint-stock company “Rivne People’s Club “Veres”. According to this notice, creditors have the right to file claims against the debtor within 30 days.
The head coach of the Rivne club, Sergei Lavrinenko, in an October interview did not deny Veres’ modest financial capabilities, however, in particular, he mentioned that “before the start of the season, the president decided to increase the salary fund.”
Veres is in penultimate place in the UPL. Lavrinenko’s team, which has not won since September 1, will host Metalist 1925 in the Ukrainian Championship on November 25.
