Former CSKA midfielder Dmitry Khomukha advised Alan Dzagoev start coaching with youth football.
On Tuesday, former CSKA midfielder Dzagoev announced his retirement at the age of 33. His last club was the Greek Lamia.
“It’s hard to say how great Alan’s desire is to try himself in the coaching field. It is a very difficult job that requires complete concentration and takes a lot of time. He must understand for himself whether he needs such a profession.
If he wants to learn all the basics of coaching, he needs to move into youth football. Dzagoev will then be able to understand for himself whether he needs it. It is worth starting your journey from the bottom and moving forward gradually, quotes RT Khomukha.
During his playing career, Dzagoev also played for Krylya Sovetov-SOK and Rubin Kazan. While at CSKA, the midfielder became a three-time champion of Russia, winning the country’s Cup and Super Cup each four times. The footballer played 59 matches for the Russian national team and scored nine goals.
