Our compatriot is in demand on the international stage this season
Ukrainian referee Victor Kopievsky will officiate the match between the Dutch AZ and Norwegian Molde V UEFA Youth League.
The meeting will take place in Wijdevormeer (Netherlands) on November 28. The brigade will include Kopievsky’s compatriots – line judges Vladimir Vysotsky and Alexander Zhukov.
This match is a return match in the second round of the UEFA Youth League Champions Path. In the first meeting, AZ won on the road with a score of 4:3.
Let us remind you that at the same stage, Lviv Rukh U19 in a nominally home match lost devastatingly to the Danish Midtjylland (0:4).
This is not the first international assignment for Kopievsky this season. On October 14, the 33-year-old referee refereed the Euro 2024 qualifying match between San Marino and Denmark (1:2), issuing 6 warnings during the game. On October 36, he worked at the Conference League match Eintracht – HJK (6:0) – 4 warnings, one penalty. On November 15, Victor officiated at the Euro U-17 qualifying match between Montenegro and the Czech Republic (0:4).
In September, Kropivnitsky’s representative also worked at the UEFA Youth League level – he refereed the match between Salzburg and Benfica (1:1).
In the UPL 2023/24, Kopievsky has four matches, 16 yellow and two red cards, and four penalties.
