Yaremchuk is on the shortlist for Bologna. He could move to the Italian club as early as January if Valencia terminates his loan

The Ukrainian forward, who belongs to Brugge, has not yet scored for the Spanish club

There were rumors that Valencia may terminate the contract early in January Bruges lease agreement of the Ukrainian forward Roman Yaremchuk.

In this case, the Belgian grandee already has a new employment option for the Ukrainian national team player – this is the Italian Bologna.

The Italian Serie A club is looking for a forward who would serve as a replacement or alternative to the current main striker Joshua Zirkzee. Currently, this role is played by Sidney van Hooydonk, but he intends to leave the team in the winter for a more stable playing experience.

According to Belgian media, 27-year-old (he will turn 28 on November 27) Yaremchuk is on the Rosso-Blue shortlist for the above role. Alternative options for Bologna include Luis Muriel (Atalanta), Rafa Mir (Sevilla), Myron Boadu (Monaco) and Roman’s current Valencia team-mate Hugo Duro.

Let us remind you that Yaremchuk moved to Valencia on the last day of the summer transfer window on loan from Bruges. The Ukrainian has already played eight matches for the Bats (three from the first minutes), but has not been effective.

At the start of the season, the Ukrainian managed to score four times against Icelandic Akureyri in the Conference League qualification, but these goals remain the only ones for Yaremchuk in more than a year.

Valencia is in ninth place in the Spanish Championship, gaining 18 points in 13 rounds. Bologna is eighth in the Italian Serie A. Brugge occupies an unforgivably low 7th position in the Belgian championship.
