How are you physically?
“I’m fine, I’ve recovered now and I worked well last week, as did the whole team, we performed strongly and we’re happy with how the friendly match went, for me it was the first minutes after the injury and I’m happy.”

“We tried, we worked a lot on the physical aspect, and it’s important for the team and for me to see where I am.”
How much do you miss the official match?
“I really miss being on the field. The older I get, the more I miss football. Now I’m doing well and I’m concentrating more on training. In the first stage I needed to concentrate on myself and feeling good, now we need to concentrate on the matches.”

However, I still have a great desire to play and, despite the injuries, I still feel physically good.”

“When I arrived, I knew what awaited me and what kind of players would be in Venice. I never had any doubts, I’m glad to hear that since I arrived everything has changed, but not only for me, there is a lot of work here, people are with us from morning to night, I cannot know that I was there before , but since I arrived I have always seen great professionalism from everyone, they were just waiting for the team to leave. After my injury, I remember that there were two difficult matches against Bari and Frosinone, which we lost, but after them, I think many players took on more responsibility, taking the team into their own hands, doing what I did it before.”

“When I come home, I have four beautiful children and a wife who always supports me, that’s what drives me through life. We moved to Venice and we love it here, we’re very happy here.”
Did you expect this second place?
“When I arrived, I had my own ideas and my own goals, at the end of the season I will tell you (laughs – ed.). As soon as they finished they started again, in my opinion it’s not a surprise, but last year I enjoyed the games on the couch, I don’t think anyone believed that Venice could reach the playoffs. However, this is the past, now we need to look forward.”
