Defender “Rubin” and the Uzbekistan national team Rustam Ashurmatov said he does not see the former Rostov striker and his compatriot Eldora Shomurodova want to return to the WORLD of RPL.
Shomurodov played for the Don club from 2017 to 2020. He is currently a player for Italian Roma, but plays for Cagliari on loan.
— The leader and captain of your team is Eldor Shomurodov. You’ve known him for a long time, how is he now?
— Eldor is my closest friend. He is offended that he doesn’t play much at Cagliari now. Everyone can see that things are not going as well for him in Italy as before. But he likes Serie A. I think he will still stay. I’m not sure about Cagliari, but he really loves everything about Italy: life and the championship.
— As an old friend, you didn’t invite him to Rubin? He could have felt even more comfortable in Kazan than in Rostov-on-Don.
– No. What can I call him when he plays in Italy? But if he played in Uzbekistan now, of course, I would immediately call him to Rubin!
