Effective game performed by Ukrainian legionnaires
Two matches took place within the 13th round Italian Championship.
Genoa lost to Frosinone on the road – 1:2, conceding the decisive goal in stoppage time. As part of the Griffins, the Ukrainian midfielder scored his debut goal for the Italian team Ruslan Malinovsky, which equalized the score in the first half.
After this match, Genoa are in 15th place in the Serie A standings, while Frosinone is in 10th position.
In another game-day match, Empoli lost to Sassuolo in a goal shootout at their stadium – 3:4. Ukrainian midfielder of the hosts Victor Kovalenko was included in the lineup for this game and entered the field in the 70th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, the Ukrainian equalized the score, but did not help his team avoid defeat. Victor scored in the second match in a row.
Sassuolo scored 15 points and is now in 13th position in the Italian Championship standings. Empoli ranks only 18th.
