The Ukrainian scored in the match with Frosinone
Head coach Genoa Alberto Gilardino appreciated the performance Ruslan Malinovsky in the match with Frosinone. The midfielder scored a goal, but the Ukrainian’s effective strike did not help the Griffins score points – 1:2.
“We know his quality and strength. He and the team played a good match. This defeat should be a lesson for us. We need to work hard, but we did well today. I can’t blame the guys for anything other than Frosinone’s second goal,” Gilardino said.
For Malinovsky, the goal against Frosinone was his debut for Genoa. In total, this season the Ukrainian played 12 matches for the Griffins in all tournaments, in which he also provided two assists.
Genoa is in 15th place in the Serie A standings. On December 2, Gilardino’s team will play against Viktor Kovalenko’s Empoli.
