The coach of the Lviv team believes that his players played unsatisfactorily
Head coach Ruha Vitaly Ponomarev commented on the team’s defeat from Dynamo (0:2) in the 15th round Ukrainian Championship.
“Dynamo scored twice after our mistakes. But we want the players to start the attack with short passes, so no one will scold Yuri Gereta. He, like every one of our players, must go through such situations and draw conclusions from these mistakes.”
“In general, this is one of our worst matches. There was a lot of academicism in the players’ actions, little aggression, and not enough pressure on the opponent. Therefore, Dynamo succeeded in a lot on the field, especially in the second half. Rukh has already proven this season that he can play on equal terms with the giants and even prevail. But today the team played unsatisfactorily. Young football players lack stability. Players make a lot of unnecessary mistakes.”
“Today, Rukh is not faced with the task of entering the European Cups, because the main task is to create a fighting team that in the future will be able to fight for the highest places.”
Rukh takes fifth place in the UPL. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Ponomarev’s team will play against Zorya.
