Ukrainian national basketball team lost to Spain (76:77) in a match qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup.
The first half of the match was held in an equal fight. The Ukrainians won the third quarter with a score of 21:17. The advantage gained by the team of Ainars Bagatskis could not be maintained until the end of the meeting – 16:20 in the final 10-minute period.
The most productive player in the Ukrainian team was Artem Pustovoi. He has 12 points.
Bagatskis’ team took the third place in the quartet with nine points. It should be noted that Ukraine reached the second round of qualification, the matches of which will be held in August.
