The organization has already informed FIFA and UEFA about possible changes to its leadership team.
The Ukrainian Football Association announced on its official website that it had received formal written decisions of the governing bodies of the 32 UAF members requesting an extraordinary congress meeting.
40 organizations are members of UAF. Since the Association received written decisions from more than 3/4 of the members, the procedure for convening an extraordinary UAF Congress officially began.
It is reported that FIFA and UEFA have already reported this.
According to the UAF Charter (Article 19, clause 4), “an extraordinary congress must be held no later than 60 days from the date of receipt by the UAF administration of duly executed proposals.”
The administration of the Ukrainian Football Association invited the members of the executive committee to hold an extraordinary UAF Congress on January 25, 2024. It is expected that the date will be officially approved in the near future.
