Rostov goalkeeper Nikita Medvedev says what style of play he prefers.

On Sunday “Rostov” defeated PARI NN in the match of the 16th round of WORLD RPL with a score of 1:0. For the first time since May 2022, Medvedev played in the starting lineup in an RPL match, when the goalkeeper played for Rubin.

— What are the emotions of victory?

— Positive emotions, the main thing is victory. It doesn’t matter if I played a clean sheet or not.

— There is always motivation, I am grateful to the technical staff for giving me the opportunity to play. Thank goodness everything went well. Keep working and don’t think about anything. Rotation or not, my job is to go out and do my job.

— Was it difficult to play the ball with short passes? Is it difficult to get used to this style?

— Sergei Pesyakov probably plays more often and does it more often. It’s probably a little easier for him. After a year and a half in the team, I’ve already gotten used to it.
