Counting on a historic performance of the BrazilO Parapan American of Santiago 2023 came to an end this Sunday, 26th. The country broke its own record in this edition, after surpassing the campaign held in Lima 2019, reaching 343 podiums achieved, including 156 gold, 98 silver and 89 bronze.
The closing ceremony, held in the main stadium, featured some of the organization’s great leaders thanking Chile for the reception, and everyone who helped to organize the event. The entry of the flags of all countries, and the passing of the baton to Barranquilla were the highlights of the presentation.

It is worth remembering that the fact that the next edition will take place in Barranquilla makes it the third in a row in South America. The last time the competition left the continent was in 2015, when it was held in Toronto, Canada.
