The Gunners are planning to part ways with Thomas Partey to get funds to buy the Brazilian

The Gunners tried three times to buy the Brazilian midfielder in 2022, their final offer of 25 million pounds was rejected by the Birmingham management. As a result, Louis extended his contract with the club until 2026.
Arsenal are planning to sell midfielder Thomas Partey in order to raise funds for the Brazilian’s transfer. The Ghanaian midfielder has made just five appearances for the club in all competitions this season. Partey is out until at least the end of 2023 with a thigh injury.
25-year-old Louis has made 20 appearances for Aston Villa in all competitions this season. The midfielder has 6 goals and 3 assists.
Arsenal are leading the Premier League, one point ahead of Manchester City. The Gunners next host Lens in the Champions League on November 29.
