The organization supported the referee in one of the key episodes of the central match of the last round
Arbitrators Committee Ukrainian Football Association commented on one of the controversial episodes in the 15th round match UPL between Miner And Polesie.
We are talking about a situation that occurred in the 10th minute of the mentioned fight. Forward nominal guests Vladislav Shapoval in a game episode he injured Miners’ defender Efim Konoplya. As a result, the Donetsk club player was replaced. The main referee of the meeting in this episode limited himself to a yellow card for the offender and a penalty kick.
The experts, having examined the controversial situation, rendered a verdict: the match referee Igor Paschal correctly interpreted the situation, since the rule violator, without having time to play the ball, unintentionally fouled his opponent. Moreover, the technique did not contain the intensity or force to create a threat to the opponent’s health.
Let us remind you that Shakhtar and Polesie drew 0:0 in the opening match of the 15th round of the UPL. The final result did not satisfy either side. Yuri Kalitvintsev’s team was unable to become the sole leader. And the Miners are now behind Dnepr-1 not only in terms of points scored, but also in terms of lost ones.
Today, November 28, Shakhtar will play in Hamburg against Antwerp in the Champions League. And on December 3, Marino Pusic’s team will host Metalist 1925 in Lviv.
