Cosenza, work on Stand B ok: it could be reopened for the club’s 110th anniversary

Stand B of the San Vito Marulla stadium, closed for two years, can finally be reopened to the public on the occasion of Cosenza’s 110th anniversary. He reports this Gazette del Sud explaining that “news has arrived from the Palazzo dei Brusi that a management decree has been signed authorizing Cosenza football to begin renovation work on the historic Stand B of the Marulla Stadium.”

The time frame for the resumption of work should be about a month, a maximum of one and a half months, so much so that the opening date has also been hypothesized: “Match with Sampdoria (match on February 24, 2024) on the occasion of which it is intended to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of football Cosenza (for this reason we would like to play on Friday night to attract attention to the B team).”

The alternative, as Gazzetta del Sud again reports, will be “a return derby (March 2) with Catanzaro, which Cosenza would like to play on Sunday.”
