The miners secured participation in European cups in the spring

The only goal in the meeting was scored by Nikolai Matvienko, scoring his debut goal in the Champions League. Alexander Zubkov, who was recognized as the best player of the match, made the assist to Nikolai.
Shakhtar scored 9 points and is in third place in Group H. Pusic’s team guaranteed itself participation in European competitions in the spring.
Shakhtar will play their next match in the UPL on December 3 against Metalist 1925. In the final round of the group stage of the 2023/24 Champions League, the Miners will play Porto on December 13.
