Athletistic/Football. During the match of the 5th round of the UEFA Champions League group stage between Ukrainian Shakhtar and Belgian Antwerp, an accident occurred between the players. The fight began after the final whistle, which announced the victory of the Pitmen with a score of 1:0.
As a result of this episode, Antwerp striker Muja Arbnor received a red card and Shakhtar goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk received a yellow card. Note that the meeting took place in Hamburg (Germany).
Shakhtar scored 9 points in five matches and secured their place in the spring part of the European Cups. The Ukrainian club can still compete to reach the Champions League playoffs. To do so, they must beat Porto in the final round of the group stage.
