According to the experienced midfielder, the players managed to recover physically and mentally after unsuccessful matches against Maccabi
Midfielder Zari Vyacheslav Churko commented on his team’s upcoming away match against Ghent in the fifth round Conference Leagues.
“Tomorrow we will give everything we have to win. We have nowhere to retreat. We need to show our maximum. Although, of course, the opponent we will face is very serious, but everything depends on us. We still have a chance to qualify from the group, so we will fight.”
“Ghent is the leader of our group. This is a good, strong team. It will be interesting football. The main thing is to believe in yourself and your teammate.”
“I think that we have recovered from the last match against Maccabi. Both physically and psychologically. We understand how important matches await us. We must try to take the maximum in the last games of this year.”
After four rounds, Zorya is in third place in Group B of the Conference League with four points. Gent is the leader of the quartet with 10 points. The Ukrainian team, in order to qualify for the European spring, needs to win the two remaining matches and hope for misfires from their opponents.
The match on the Ghent field will take place on Thursday, November 30. It will be served by a Greek brigade led by Evangelos Manouhos.
