Munich lost points for the first time in the current draw
Bavaria played a draw at their stadium with Copenhagen in the fifth round of the group stage of the Champions League – 0:0.
During the allotted 90 minutes of the meeting, none of the teams managed to score in this game. Bayern had more possession of the ball and created more chances in front of the goal, but failed to secure a fifth win in a row in the Champions League group stage. At the end of the meeting, the Munich team claimed a penalty, but the referee changed his decision after a hint from VAR.
Bayern is a confident leader in Group A and has advanced to the playoffs of the tournament ahead of schedule. Copenhagen has five points and is in second position in the standings. Earlier in this quartet, Galatasaray played a productive draw with Manchester United – 3:3.
In the final round of the group stage, Bayern will play against Manchester United, and Copenhagen will play Galatasaray – a victory in this meeting will guarantee one of the teams access to the Champions League playoffs.
