Earlier this summer, Cassierra moved Sochi to Zenit, signing a three-year contract with the Blue-White-Blues with the possibility of a season extension. Earlier, Zenit CEO Alexander Medvedev told that the club signed Rodrigo in a contract.

Brazilian defender Rodrigo previously played for Sochi, where he moved in July last year as a free agent. In the 2021/22 season, the footballer has made 31 appearances in all competitions, in which he has scored three goals and provided one assist.
