The Chinese boxer hopes for Tyson’s victory in the fight with Usik
WBO interim heavyweight belt holder Zhang Zhilei shared his opinion about the fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion between Alexander Usik And Tyson Fury. The Chinese heavyweight prefers the “Gypsy King”.
“I hope Tyson Fury wins. I want to tell him something: “My brother, train hard and do the right thing. Get these four belts, and then return them to me after we meet in the ring,” Zhilei said.
Zhilei defeated Joe Joyce in his last fight, knocking out the Briton in the third round. After the fight, Zhang challenged Fury and Usyk to a fight in turn.
Zhilei’s manager Terry Lane stated that Fury was their team’s first target. Lane believes that three boxers remain at the top of the heavyweight division – Usyk, Fury and Zhang, while the rest are much lower than this three.
The fight between WBC heavyweight title holder Fury and WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Usyk will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
