Venice, Antonelli: “I am proud to have convinced so many fans to return to the stadium”

Filippo AntonelliVenezia’s sports director spoke about the club’s next birthday and the decision to celebrate the 116th anniversary with the fans through five off-site events around Venice, in which both players and managers of the Laguna club will take part: “We started last year with a difficult situation.but we promised to do our best, to work hard on and off the field to turn the situation around. I’m proud of the growth path we’re on and the fact that I convinced so many people to come to the stadium to support us.. Celebrating the birthday of Venice with our fans through various events throughout the province aims to demonstrate the symbolic embrace of our territory and the great union of intentions that can be felt at this moment.”

Antonelli then continues, as stated on the club’s website, looking to the future: “Our goal is to see even more fans in the stadium.

Our fans, especially at home, represent a very important added value and for this reason I would like to emphasize the importance of signing a Fan Card. Thanks to it, our fans will not only be able to follow the visiting team even in case of restrictions, but above all, we will be able to implement various ticket sales initiatives aimed at filling Penzo more and more with orange and green hearts.”
