Athletistic/Football. Former Zenit and Russian national team captain Andrei Arshavin believes PAOK midfielder Magomed Ozdoev has found his team.

“In general, the Greek championship is not broadcast in Russia and we see Conference League matches only in fragments. But despite this, we can say that Magomed has found his team. That’s all we hears about his game and that of PAOK. Ozdoev is exactly in his place there,” Arshavin said on Match TV.

Magomed Ozdoev joined PAOK in August 2023 from Turkey’s Fatih Karagumruk. He played 19 matches for the Greek club and scored four goals. Previously, the Russian played in the RPL for Lokomotiv, Rubin, Terek (now Akhmat) and Zenit. With the blue-white-blue team, the midfielder became a four-time champion of Russia, winner of the Cup and two-time winner of the country’s Super Cup.

The day before, on November 30, the Greek club had beaten Eintracht Frankfurt (2:1) in the 5th match of the Conference League group stage. Ozdoev spent 79 minutes on the field.
