Athletistic/Football. Former Dynamo Moscow and Russian national team midfielder Igor Semshov assessed the possible return of striker Vagner Love to CSKA.
“It will be extremely difficult for Wagner to return to the RPL and CSKA. He is a good footballer, but the military team now needs to pay attention to young players. Many footballers want to end their careers where they had good times If Wagner is offered a position in the CSKA structure, then this is a completely different case.
It is unlikely that Wagner will play for CSKA again,” Semshov was quoted as saying by RB Sport.
Vagner Love was a CSKA player from 2004 to 2012 and in 2013. The Brazilian played 259 matches with the reds and blues, scored 124 goals and contributed 53 assists. Together with the military team, Wagner won the UEFA Cup, became the champion of Russia three times, won the Cup six times and the country’s Super Cup four times.
