The winners of both paths meet in the final. At the same time, an interesting decision was made to organize the 1/4 finals of the RPL course. The first matches took place this week. That is to say at the end of November. The return matches will take place in 2024 after the winter break. In one of the first matches, Rostov hosted CSKA.
From the eighth minute, the Rostovites took the advantage. Army defender Kirill Nababkin scored an own goal. Mokhebi quickly accelerated along the right edge, left Moises behind and, falling, crossed the front line into the goalkeeper’s zone, where Nababkin, in a fight with Komlichenko, cut the ball into his own goal.
In the 32nd minute, CSKA striker Anton Zabolotny. Fayzullaev served from a set piece to the goal area, from where Zabolotny made a falling header – the ball flew into the net above the goalkeeper’s hands.
Thus, the match ended in a 1:1 draw. Everything will be decided in Moscow. The winner over a total of two matches will qualify for the 1/2 finals of the RPL course. The loser will advance to the second stage of the 1/4 finals of the regional route.
