The African team defeated in the match for third place Argentina U-17 – 3:0. The Malians opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Just before the break, the Africans scored another goal, and at the beginning of the second half they scored a rout.
At the tournament in Indonesia, the Mali U-17 team won five out of seven matches. The African team suffered defeats in the group round from Spain, as well as in the semifinals from France (1:2).
The 2023 World Cup final will take place on Saturday, December 2. The France U-17 team will play against Germany U-17. Starts at 14:00 Kyiv time.
