Prometheus defender played in the victorious match with Tartu Ulikool
Defender Promethea Denis Lukashov spoke about his first match after a long-term injury. The Ukrainian team beat Tartu Ulikool in the Latvian-Estonian basketball league.
“There was a return after almost eight months, injury, surgery, recovery. It was a very difficult journey. I worked almost every day during this summer and finally I’m back, I was really looking forward to it.”
“Today was a difficult game for us. We expected this. Tartu has changed somewhat compared to the previous season, several experienced players have been added, and we were preparing for a serious game.”
Lukashov spent 3 minutes and 35 seconds on the court, scoring two points. Prometheus won all four quarters of the match, gradually increasing its advantage.
Ronen Ginzburg’s team is in second place in the standings. In the next match, Prometheus will compete with the University of Latvia on December 10.
